About this program

The most immersive leadership experience in the CES Junior portfolio. Students aged 12–17 with at least Upper-Intermediate English live on the University of Sussex campus in single rooms, surrounded by an international peer group and supported by full-board catering. Fifteen hours of advanced language and leadership tuition each week sharpen skills in persuasive communication, analytical reasoning and collaborative problem-solving. Lessons take place at Worthing College, the CES junior summer school campus, reached by a daily shuttle bus from the residence. Cultural excursions and team-based activities fill the rest of the week. The programme runs from late June to the end of July (2027: 28 June – 30 July).
