Junior English Course

Leadership and Activity Programme (Residential - University of Sussex) — Worthing

Centre of English Studies (CES) • Worthing, United Kingdom • Onsite

About this program

The most immersive leadership experience in the CES Junior portfolio. Students aged 12–17 with at least Upper-Intermediate English live on the University of Sussex campus in single rooms, surrounded by an international peer group and supported by full-board catering. Fifteen hours of advanced language and leadership tuition each week sharpen skills in persuasive communication, analytical reasoning and collaborative problem-solving. The university setting — lecture theatres, seminar rooms, a professional library — creates an academic atmosphere that motivates students to perform at their best. Cultural excursions and team-based activities fill the rest of the week. With the longest availability window of any CES leadership programme (late June through mid-August), families have exceptional flexibility in scheduling.
