The Standard General English programme provides 20 structured morning lessons per week (09:30 - 13:00 Mon to Fri), developing all four language skills in an environment that has inspired scholars for centuries. Classes are small (maximum 14 students) and open to every level, from absolute beginner to advanced. Year-round availability means you can start when it suits you. Afternoons are yours — to explore college gardens, cycle along the Thames towpath, or visit the Bodleian Library knowing that every conversation in this city carries the weight of linguistic heritage.
